Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi on his Instagram wrote the world is changing and one of the changes is "Digital Currencies", citing passive approach regarding technology leads to retardation and eventually inaction of sovereignty.
The official said based on the existing capacities of communications and information technology in banking area and the country's financial system and also high capacity of the country's youth, is supposed Post Bank of Iran calls on and recognizes elites in this field to launch the first Iranian digital currency in lab scale and then the model will be sent to the country's banking system to be reviewed and confirmed.
Minister of Communications and Information Technology asked those people who are specializaed in the area, have an active participation in Post Bank's call.
