Iranian Minister of Economy said based on a MoU which was signed between Iran and China, two countries' national currencies will be used in trade exchanges.

Regarding President Rouhani's trip to China, Masoud Karbasian said 4 MoUs were signed between two countries, adding one of them was inked between Iran's Ministry of Economy and China's Development Infrastructure Organization for using financial sources of Iran and China to invest and use two countries' national currencies in trade exchanges.

He noted that based on the agreement, trade relations of two countries has been delineated in the framework of 'One Road, One Belt' and two countries' share in the roadmap of this project has been emphasized.

The official added technical and scientific development was another MoU which was signed between Iran and China during the trip in the presence of two countries' presidents and Iranian presidential Technical Office.

The Minister of Economy mentioned that the third MoU was signed between two countries' Securities and Exchange Organizations. He said the last MoU was signed in combating against drugs and based on the agreement two countries will be organized and cooperate together in this field.

"Increasing volume exchanges between two countries in various areas such as banking, oil, petrochemical and trade volume were discussed during the trip", Karbasian said.
