In a letter to the speaker, Central bank emphasized that formulating of a bill in line with international standards was on the agenda, and demanded that central bank law be put on agenda through the government bill.

IBENA- quoted from public relations of Central Bank, following the decision of the Bank's Board of Directors on plan the goals, structure and responsibilities of the Central Bank of Islamic Republic of Iran, through a letter to the Speaker of Parliament (Madschles), the bank informed him the following:

By thanking the efforts of Islamic Parliament to formulate the plan of Central Bank, which has been done with the aim of ensuring maximum independence and increasing the authority and supervisory powers of the bank, by its accountability and clarity, emphasized this legal text would have complexities, sensitivities and effects on macroeconomics. The Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution, through his recent orders, in a virtual meeting with the representatives, mentioned that the adoption of laws in sensitive and important matters should preferably be done based on the government bill.

It should also be noted that specialized and expert points and considerations of this bank have not been accepted in the meetings related to the formulation and review of Central Bank's plan in the parliament and have not been applied in the text of plan.

Therefore, in view of mentioned cases above and considering that preparation and compilation of text of the bill in line with international criteria and standards using the items raised in proposed version of Islamic parliament is on the agenda of the Central Bank, please consider the review of the law related to the Central Bank should be included in the agenda of the Islamic parliament through the government bill.
