Iran Negotiates with Iraq to Facilitate Banking Relations

Central Bank of Iran's Governor had detailed talks with Iraqi Finance Minister for facilitating monetary and financial relations between Tehran and Baghdad.

Abdlonaser Hemmati had detailed negotiations today with Foad Hossein, deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister of Iraq, about growing exports of Iran to Iraq which has reached 12 billion dollars in both private and public sectors totally. 



Making balance in bilateral trade, facilitating monetary and financial relations and also other banking issues were exchanged in the meeting.



The governor said in the upcoming trip to Baghdad the agreed issues will be pursued.



It is worth mentioning that earlier President Hassan Rohani and Adel Abdolmahdi Prime Minister of Iraq in their meeting agreed that Abdolnaser Hemmati, Central Bank of Iran's Governor, to travel to Baghdad one more time to follow bilateral agreements.
