Iran, Iraq's Trade Volume to Rise to $20 bn

Iraqi Trade Minister in Tehran said both Iran and Iraq are eager to increase their trade volume to 20 billion dollars by next two years.

After his visit to Mohammad Hashem Abdolmajid Jasem, Iraq's Trade Minister, Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani said in the meeting negotiations regarding the improvement of strategic relations between two nations were done.



'As to the broad border of two countries which is 1400 kilometers, Iran and Iraq are determined to extend their trade relations', he said.



Iraqi official mentioned at present, two nations have sufficient determination to develop their trade exchanges. Jasem said Iran and Iraq are willing to rise their trade volume to 20 billion dollars by next two years.



Iraqi Trade Minister stressed that Iran has a good situation to develop its trade with Iraq, adding there is a broad boarder between two countries, plus Iran and Iraq have  cultural and religious aspects in common with each other.
