National Development Fund of Iran Grants $8.550 bn Currency Facilities

National Development Fund of Iran gave 8.550 billion dollars currency facilities through 12 operating banks in the first three months of the current year(based on Persian calendar).

In the beginning of 1397, (March, 2018) totally 20 operating currency facilities contracts valued at 14.850 billion dollars were drawn up and sent to operating banks to be implemented, of which 12 contracts valued at 8.550 billion dollars were implemented in the first three months of the current year.



According to the National Development Fund of Iran, the share of operating banks for undertaking the responsibility for granting currency facilities in the fisrt three months of the current year is as follows:



Bank Keshavarzi one billion USD, Bank Melli one billion USD, Post Bank 200 million USD, Bank Tejarat 1.5 bn USD, Bank Saman 500 mn USD, Bank Tose'a Ta'avon 400 mn USD, Bank Hekmat Iranian 100 mn USD, Bank Refah Karegaran 650 mn USD, Bank Karafarin 400 mn USD, Middel East Bank 300 mn USD, Export Development Bank of Iran 500 mn USD, Bank Mellat 2 bn USD.



The National Development Fund of Iran's highest operating currency facilities contract in that period belongs to Bank Mellat with 2 bn USD, while the lowest one belongs to Bank Hekmat Iranian with 100 mn USD.



The fund also said the rest of the contracts will have been implemented by the end of current year.
