China's Kunlun Bank Resumes Financial Transactions with Iran

Member of Iran's Chamber of Commerce delegation reported that China's Kunlun Bank has resumed its banking relations with Iran.

According to IBENA, Pedram Soltani in a note regarding the banking relations between Iran and China wrote, Kunlun Bank was an only Chinese bank undertaking Iran and China's banking relations. The bank has resumed its collaboration with some Iranian banks by considering the precise observation of U.S. sanctions.



The bank has restarted its banking relations with Iran after two months halt. The Chinese bank in the previous round of sanctions imposed by the United Nations and U.S. against Iran, continued its cooperations with the country.
