IBENA- Regarding the previous Iranian and Russian Presidents' visit in Tehran to increase bilateral trade and financial relations, the central bank of Iran' Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati as a head of a delegation travelled to Russia, visiting Russian Governor of the Central Bank, discussing how to improve two nations' banking and financial relations.
Various issues such as using national currencies in bilateral trade, employing two countries' Interbank Financial Telecommunication, increasing two nations' level of brokerage relations and providing finance for civil and developmental domestic projects were discussed in the meeting.
Elvira Nabiullina, Governor of Russia's Central Bank, in her part, welcomed the discussed topics by Dr.Hemmati, expressing her hope that two countries' banking collaboration in the form of a roadmap to be expanded in the future.
Based on two sides' agreement, technical and specialized negotiations are supposed to be pursued by two countries' expert teams to achieve the results.
