IBENA- Dollar was traded at about 20000 toman last week in Tehran informal market, but since Sunday as the Central Bank of Iran has interfered in the market it has been purchased between 8000 to 10000 toman and sold between 11000 to 13000 toman.

Dollar drop has not been limited to Tehran or Ferdosi square and it stretched across other cities. It has caused people sell their foreign currency and exchange shops be replete with crowd.

Many currency market activists and exchange shops believe that the downward trend of dollar will be continuing in following days. The Central Bank asked people to go to currency branch of banks to sell their foreign exchange based on the declared price.

It is worth mentioning that IBENA is an only specialized news agency in banking and economy areas, which is affiliated with the Central Bank of Iran.
