Iran in line with supporting its domestic products and farmers has banned the export of potato, watermelon, melons, pepper and pumpkin to Iraq.
It is worth noting that formerly the export of Iranian tomatoes, cucumber, eggplant, garlic and frozen fish had been forbidden to Iraq and they are still in place.
Trade volume between Iran and Iraq is roughly 8 billion dollars.
