Iran,Russia's Trade Problems to be Removed in 2 Months

Head of Iran-Russia's joint Chamber of Commerce said the agreements which have been signed recently between Iranian and Russian sides can solve trade problems between two countries in 2 months.

Asadollah Asgaroladi mentioned that trade activists in private sectors pursue trade problems solutions, adding transportation, banking issues and visa are major trade problems in Iran-Russia relations which were discussed with Russian officials.



Head of Iran-Russia's joint Chamber of Commerce stated that we had some meetings in Russian Federal Chamber with private sector trade activists and Russian Deputy Prime Minister.



"At the meetings the promise for solving trade problems between two countries was given", Asgaroladi said.



He stated that the trade volume between Iran and Russia is $2.2 bn mostly related to imports, citing our export is less than Russia, so we are going to double our export to Russia by 6 months.



The official referred to tens of protocols and agreements between Iran and Russia in oil, Agriculture and nano areas, expressing establishing trade center of Iran in Russia and reviving the Chamber of Caspian seashore countries have been agreed in the agreements, implementing the deals should be pursued.



Asgaroladi revealed that currently a Russian bank is working with Iranian side and it is going to increase to 4 banks; furthermore, Russian export and agricultural banks will work with Iran in the future.



Head of Iran-Russia's joint Chamber of Commerce said Russian side has promised to issue Iranian tourists visa within 3 days and one-year visa for merchants in 10 days.
