Iran Foreign Trade Volume Hits $80 bn

Deputy Minster of Economic Affairs and Finance said foreign trade volume in the first 10 months of the current year (based on Persian calendar) stood at $80 bn, adding out of 80 billion dollars, $37 bn was the share of exports and over $42 bn was for imports.

In the sidelines of the opening ceremony of Iran's most state-of-art and high speed x-ray truck machine in Shahid Rajaei customs,  Faroud Asgari stated the volume of Iran's exports and imports have increased 1.7 percent and 22 percent respectively.



The official said Hormozgan province devoted 30% of whole country's foreign trade volume to itself, mentioning during the first 10 months of the current year the province's customs could earn 10 thousand billion toman, which is 60 percent of Iran's Customs total revenues.



Director General of Iran's Customs made the remarks that a mobile x-ray machine will be installed in Shahid Rajaei customs soon, adding customs programme axis in foreign trade area is done in Hormozgan.



Asgari went on to say that we have made a contract with Defence Ministry for producing 5 x-ray machines and two of them are under test in Bazargan customs and will be installed in Farvardin month.



He said there is a plan for installing mobile x-ray machines in Inche Brone, Bashmaq customs, two machines in Sistan Balouchestan and one x-ray machine in Sarakhas by China's finance.
