Regarding the steps taken by ICT Ministry for local social networks, Mohammad-Javad Azari Jahromi said based on the Supreme Council of Virtual Space's act each organization has a duty to support local Messaging social network and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has a duty too.
He stated that one of the moves of ICT Ministry is determining a preferential price for local messaging social networks, which has been implemented and is being advertised.
Azari Jahromi stressed that allocating broadband to applicants based on their need has been done through correspondence and also required space has been given to them by creating a Data center.
The official highlighted that giving low-interest loan is another step, which has been taken in this regard and applicants were introduced to banks and now they are passing its administrative process.
He mentioned that it is essential that except Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (ICT) other organizations, which have a role in this project, be accountable.
