Iranian Banks Are Enthusiastic to Open Branch in Germany

Head of Central Bank of Iran in his visit with German ambassador to Iran expressed Iranian banks' enthusiasm to open branches in Germany and expand their cooperation with German banks.

During his visit with German ambassador, Vallyollah Seif pointed to Germany's support from JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) ,adding that two countries political relations level is in an appropriate state; however, economic relations haven't grown as much as political level.



He mentioned banks are cautious regarding their relations with Iran and also America is continuing to make obstacles. "We should make the conditions transparent and analysze risks to strengthen our relations. JCPOA is an international document aiming to establish tranquility, stability and security. Europe has realized this objective well, but America is still making barriers", Seif said.



Head of Central Bank of Iran stated that two sides should make an attempt to solve banking relations problems. Having a finance deal is the second step after establishing banking brokerage relations. He said we have classified Iranian banks in terms of standard and Central Bank can introduce them and control their risk to ensure German banks relatively.



Seif referred to Frankfurt Financial Weekly Seminar and considered it as a suitable opportunity for European to know Iran better, saying based on good and old relations between Iran and Germany, adjusting banking relations and deal settlement mechanism are possible, saying Iranian banks are enthusiastic to open branches in Germany and the country goes to their first priority than other European countries.



German Ambassador, in his side said we welcome any improvement in our relations and Iran's economic growth has been dreamy.
