Iran's Liquidity Soars Above 23 Percent

Central Bank of Iran reported that liquidity in Mehr month (October) increased 23% from a year earlier.

Central Bank of Iran declared Mehr month liquidity reached above 1 thousand and 403 thousand billion tomans, compared with same period in the last year it grew 23.3 percent.



The report revealed the volume of cash money in that month stood at 1638.0 thousand billion rials, rising 13% year-on-year, while the amount of pseudo money in Mehr month was 12392.5 thousand billion rials, increasing 13.7 percent year over year.



Central Bank of Iran reported that non-state sector's debt in Mehr month was 9967.5 thousand billion rials, indicating 17 percent year-on-year growth.



According to the report the amount of banking system's foreign assets in Mehr month stood at 6279.0 thousand billion rials which grew 9 percent compared with the corresponding month from a year earlier, plus state sector's debt was 2456.8 thousand billion rials in that month which rose 20.5% year over year.
