Chinese Banks to Finance 40 Billion euros in Iran

Central bank of Iran's Governor reported Chinese banks will finance 40 billion euros in Iran's investment projects.

Regarding Iran and China's banking relations, Valiollah seif ,Central bank of Iran's Governor, said some negotiations between Iran and China are underway and one of the positive moves is offering very good credit lines by Chinese side to utilize them in Iran's investment projects. He added some of the finance deals projects have been signed and some others are about to be inked.



The official stated that the total figure is 40 billion euros approximately. Seif went on to say that unfortunately, our banking relations haven't had a well-shaped structure yet, making the remarks that some Chinese banks are taking precautions, but Chinese officials are trying to get into action and solve the problem.



Concerning a question that what measures have been done to solve and open Iranian students' bank account freezing in China, Central bank of Iran's Governor said this problem is referred to some Chinese banks' precautions.



"After traveling to China, we wrote a letter in this regard and we hope that this problem will be removed as soon as possible by pursuing it", Seif said.
