Iran, Austria Ink MoU on Customs Cooperation

Iran and Austria signed a memorandum of understanding in Brussels to develop customs cooperation and facilitate trade with each other.

In the sidelines of the Extraordinary Council of the World Customs Organization, the MoU was signed by two countries' customs.



In the presence f Faroud Asgari, The Islamic Republic of Iran's Director General of customs, Deputy Chief of Austria's customs and the Director General of Iran's International Cooperation Office the agreement was inked to develop and strengthen Iran and Austria's bilateral customs cooperation.



The deal can pave the path for exchanging goods and passengers' data between two countries' customs, plus expanding customs collaboration for development and facilitation of trade exchanges.
