On 21st Anniversary of Export, Es’hagh Jahangiri, First Vice-President, stated that in the past we talked about 1.5 to 2 billion dollars non-oil exports, therefore I express my gratitude for those people making an attempt to be in this place and respect them.

"It is a big achievement that our non-oil revenue is twice as much as oil's", Jahangiri said.

The official noted that Iran earns on average 45 to 50 billion dollars from oil sale and approximately 45 to 50 billion dollars from non-oil exports annually, adding our ability to distribute foreign exchange in the domestic market is $100 bn each year.

First Vice-President voiced that if our imported commodities be 50 billion dollars, our balance sheet is positive and it is between 20 t0 30 billion dollars.

Es’hagh Jahangiri emphasized that in the current stage we urge that in international interactions instead of dollar other formal currencies like euro to be replaced.

"To do this, we are seeking to reach an agreement with target countries to use national currency and economic diplomacy is one the most significant of government's policies", Es’hagh Jahangiri said.
