Asked about reports of a 10% reduction in the deposits of the clients, the governor stressed that the amount made available to them for withdrawal is considered an interim one and that they will find full access after all their assets are clarified and analyzed.

Seif also noted that there has been a small number of clients physically showing up for the matter and thus the access to the deposits of the entire list of the clients available in the central bank’s database has been made possible, while a receipt has been issued to them clarifying that the account is interim and assuring them that a gradual process of complete settlement will soon be launched, regardless of how much the value of their assets is.
