"Thanks for the measures of the Central Bank of Iran (CBI), which serves as major monetary policy maker in the country, national economy was led to the stage of stability and peace," said Divandari in a key note address to the inaugural session of the 27th Annual Conference on Monetary and Foreign Exchange Policies.
He said the ongoing seminar is the 27th of its kind and serves as the most important and the most excellent specialized seminar, attended by the banking system officials.
He added that oucome of the meeting will be transferred to the monetary policy makers of the country in the forms of policy and monitoring notes and recommendations so that related scholars and decision makers will benefit from them.
He went on to say that the country's banking system, as the major pillar of the country's financial system, emerged susccessful to use all the capacity available to serve real section of the country's economy despite all the problems left over from the past like frozen assets and credit shortcoins.
He hailed the CBI successful efforts like application of appropriate policies to mimize past wrong mistakes, activating the banking market, minimizing legal reserves of the banks, providing minor depositors of unauthorized institutions with finance, helping banking liquidity and curbing staggering inflation, ending illogical forex fluctuations.
