Iran's gross domestic product, excluding oil production, recorded a positive growth rate of 0.9% in the third quarter of the current fiscal year (Sept. 23-Dec. 21).
The overall GDP growth, including oil production, however, stood at -1.7% for the period, new data provided by the head of the Statistical Center of Iran, Javad Hosseinzadeh, show.
The sectors of agriculture, industries and mines (oil-free), and services registered growth rates of +3.2%, +2% and -0.2% respectively in Q3.
Economic growth in the first three quarters By excluding oil, the figure stands at 0%.
